"Molinari Extra is a sweet and strong liqueur, anise-flavoured, prepared from a recipe that the Molinari family will never reveal, made from star anise seeds, sugar, herbs, and rather fine and precious spices. The technical processes are extremely accurate and precise, in order to meet the highest standards of quality — both for the production and the product. Molinari's production plants feature top equipment, able to operate in a safe environment, in which the standards of hygiene — according to ISO 9000/2001 guidelines — are just impeccable. For this reason, Molinari is a premium product; the 'Extra' in the name states the superior quality of our Sambuca. Transparent, crystal-clear. Sweet and persistent on the nose, with an unmistakable flavour of star anise. Pleasant, warm and full on the palate. Full-flavoured, with a long persistence of anise." —producer

"Practically the whole world knows Strega as a marvelous after-dinner liqueur. And millions of Americans are discovering Strega 'on the rocks'. But the possibilities of this wonderful liqueur have only begun to be tapped. According to legend, in the city of Benevento where STREGA is made, witches disguised as beautiful young maidens used to mix a magic brew. When two people drank this miraculous potion, they were forever afterward united. Today it is still believed that if a couple drink Strega together, they will never again be far apart." -producer
