"The 2023 Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon palate is soft and plush, unfolding into a full, generous mid-palate and a sturdy, lingering finish. Ripe black and blue fruits dominate, with layers of cassis, blackberry pie, and deep purple plum, complemented by hints of bay leaf, cracked pepper, and crushed herbs that evoke a true sense of place. Integrated oak brings melted spice notes and toasted vanilla bean, seamlessly framing and elevating the vibrant fruit profile while adding subtle minerality for depth and complexity. The result is a wine with remarkable balance, where the harmony of fruit, spice, and wood creates a truly memorable tasting experience." —winemaker
