"Accept no imitations! Our Holiday Spiced Wine is an original old world recipe which has been served piping hot in taverns and inns since colonial times. Brotherhood has been making Holiday Spiced Wine for over 150 years! Our guarded recipe is a blend of sweet red wine, steeped with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice and a secret variety of other herbs and spices. Heat this up and serve on a cold winter day." -winemaker

"Partially fermenting red grapes on the skins, then stopping the fermentation with the addition of fine brandy vinifies this Ruby Port - creating an 18% alcohol content. After filtering, our Port is blended and aged in casks of aged port. The port is then withdrawn using a modified "solera" system of continuous blending throughout many years." —winemaker

"Winemaking begins in the vineyard and often peaks with the harvest of the grapes that have been carefully tended all year long. Grapes for the California Collection White Zinfandel were picked at the peak of maturity and brought into the winery for gentle crushing. By keeping the juice in contact with the grapes red skins for approximately three hours, a light blush color was retained. Beringer’s winemakers then used slow, cool fermentations to preserve the vibrant, fresh strawberry, honeydew, and citrus aromas and flavors." -winemaker
