"The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old, a perfectly balanced single malt whisky matured for a minimum of 18 years in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Sherry seasoned American oak adds delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character." —producer

"The epitome of The Macallan excellence and mastery in whisky making. This spirit is carefully matured for a minimum of 18 years in predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks and released annually, transforming the new make spirit into an exceptional whisky with notes of ginger, dates and dark chocolate." —producer

"Handcrafted using an exceptionally high proportion of first-fill Sherry oak casks, handpicked by our whisky maker, from less than 1% of the casks maturing at the Macallan distillery. Coupled with the Macallan's commitment to natural colour, we have created a tantalising single malt which sees Spanish oak pique the nose before admitting rich dried fruits and an edgy trickle of treacle. A hesitant sweetness enters, then oak returns, burnished and mature. On the palate a rush of ginger, nutmeg, and resin herald orange, sultana, and raisins with their restrained but pervasive sweetness. A hint of cloves, but with oak the undisputed maestro. The finish of this naturally occurring ruby-red spirit is long, lingering, and reflective." —producer

"The Balvenie Distillery has been owned and managed by an independent family company for five generations.  This has ensured that the Balvenie Distillery is still dedicated to the traditions, care and craftsmanship of malt whisky making.  Nowhere else will you find a Distillery that still grows its own barley, that still malts its own traditional floor maltings, that still has coopers to tend the casks and that still has a coppersmith to tend the stills.  From this distillery comes the Balvenie Portwood.  Whisky matured in two different casks of different character has a richer, deeper more complex character than that matured in a single cask.  During maturation, the Balvenie PortWood is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask in which it has been matured for 21 years to an original port cask thereby acquiring character from both casks.  the result is a malt with honeyed tones of distinctive and robust character." —producer

"Patiently matured for 21 years on‐site at the distillery, it is an exquisite, traditional Speyside whisky, rich and ripe with our Glenfiddich signature notes. But rather than bottle it, as other distillers would, our Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, hand picks selected barrels and adds a sublime finishing touch. By finishing our 21 Year Old in Caribbean rum casks it awakens the liquid, rousing it with extra exotic notes of ginger, fig, lime and banana and a vibrant spicy toffee warmth, elevating it from something great to something extraordinary. Raised in Scotland. Roused by the Caribbean." —producer

"Matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso Sherry casks, this sublime 19 year old whisky is the epitome of an aged Ardbeg. This sublime Traigh Bhan, like the bottles before it, was inspired by Islay’s Traigh Bhan beach (pronounced tri-van). Ardbeg Traigh Bhan masterfully performs the impossible – balancing the lull and crescendo of its intense flavours. Bottled under a full moon, the tides have turned for this rare spirit as more mentholic, herbal notes rush the senses, with intense smoke left behind in its peaty wake." —producer
