"The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc from Rutherford underwent a meticulous vinification process designed to capture the vibrant and aromatic essence characteristic of this varietal and the unique terroir of the Rutherford sub-region in Napa Valley. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure a balance of acidity and intense flavor profiles. After harvesting, the grapes were quickly transported to the winery and gently pressed to extract the juice while minimizing skin contact, preserving the varietal's delicate floral and fruity aromas. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled low temperatures to retain the Sauvignon Blanc's characteristic crispness and bright aromatics. This method helps to emphasize the lively citrus and green fruit notes. To enhance complexity and add depth, a small portion of the wine underwent fermentation in neutral oak barrels, though the majority remained in stainless steel to maintain the crisp, mineral-driven profile.
