Huyghe Delirium Nocturnum

Size: 25.4oz

"Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate on the nose. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet." —brewer

"Appearance: Hazy deep ruby red with a tan creamy, patchy lace — one gentle swirl and it creams up again.

"Smell: Medicinal/light solvent, tart apple, faint caramel, raw sugar, alcohol (swirl and give it a good whiff) and earthy / yeast aromas.

"Taste: Kinda smooth and very creamy on the palate, light pear texture. Medium-bodied. Medicinal, dominant apple (slightly tart), herbal, yeast...then the malts settle in on the palate with a smooth chocolate / caramel flavour that turns dry soon after. No predominant hop bitterness. Vague spices. Warming spicy alcohol character hits the head after a few decent sips.

"Notes: Welcome to Belgian beers! Lovely combination of malts and complex tartness. A surprise lurks around every taste bud with this beer. Amazing how such a beer can go from sweet to mildly tart to dry." —BeerAdvocate Magazine

Chimay Grande Reserve (Blue) Size: 25.4oz

"The Chimay Blue Cap, 'baptized' 'Grande Réserve' in 750 ml bottles is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavour of which improves across the years. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer, explaining the presence of a 'vintage'. This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odour, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelized note. It is served ideally at cellar temperature (50 to 54 °F)." —brewer

Gouden Carolus Cuvee van de Keizer Blue Size: 25.4oz

"Every year on the 24th of February, we celebrate the birth of Charles Quint. Therefore we brew a special beer in limited edition called Cuvée van de Keizer ('Grand Cru of the Emperor'). This exceptional beer is a special version of the Gouden Carolus Classic, with an enriched taste palate and mysterious aromas added. The caramelised malts and its 11% alc. vol. give the Cuvée van de Keizer the warm roundness of wine together with the refreshing taste of beer. It is imperially crowned with a cork so it can be preserved for a long period of time at a constant cellar temperature of 54 °F. An imperial beer to cherish and enjoy in moderation." —brewer

Duvel Golden Ale Size: 25.4oz

"A Duvel is still seen as the reference among more full-bodied ales. Its bouquet is lively and tickles the nose with an element of citrus which even tends towards grapefruit thanks to the use of only the highest-quality hop varieties. This is also reflected in the flavour, which is beautifully balanced with a hint of spiciness. Thanks to its high CO2 content, this beer has a wonderful roundness in the mouth. A Duvel is both the perfect thirst quencher and the ideal aperitif." —brewer

Saison Dupont Vieille Provision Farmhouse Ale Size: 25.4oz

25934
"The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle. Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time. Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel. During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the 'saisoniers' which were working on the fields. Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as 'the classic' among the Belgian season beers! Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quencher with no equal, just the way it was created. Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste. A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer." —brewer
