Saison Dupont Vieille Provision Farmhouse Ale

Size: 25.4oz

RateBeer: 99

"The Saison Dupont is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle. Since 1844, this beer has been brewed in our farm-brewery, during the winter time. Then this beer became a second refermentation in the barrel. During the next summer, this very thirst-quenching beer was served to the 'saisoniers' which were working on the fields. Surely therefore, our Saison Dupont is considered as 'the classic' among the Belgian season beers! Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quencher with no equal, just the way it was created. Our selection of yeasts is the perfect base for these typical aromas and ditto taste. A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, result into this complex and particular aromatic beer." —brewer

"Appearance: Massive off-white head, very active carbonation...pale golden cloudy color. This is good as the beer should never pour clear.

"Smell: Very ripe pear, earthy cellar and a solid herbal backbone round out the nose.

"Taste: Big herbal phenolic action upfront, dry grain and a mild tartness. A handful of malt character comes through with a clean grainy note. Touch of fruitiness, musty chalky yeast, herbal phenols and dry grain in the finish.

"Mouthfeel: Incredibly smooth with a deep yet soft crispness.

"Need a beer to clean the palate if not cut through some of the most flavorful cuisines? This is the beer to do it." —Jason Alström, BeerAdvocate

Duvel Golden Ale Size: 25.4oz

"A Duvel is still seen as the reference among more full-bodied ales. Its bouquet is lively and tickles the nose with an element of citrus which even tends towards grapefruit thanks to the use of only the highest-quality hop varieties. This is also reflected in the flavour, which is beautifully balanced with a hint of spiciness. Thanks to its high CO2 content, this beer has a wonderful roundness in the mouth. A Duvel is both the perfect thirst quencher and the ideal aperitif." —brewer

Westmalle Trappist Tripel Size: 25.4oz

"Westmalle Tripel is a clear, golden yellow Trappist beer that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle (9.5% alcohol). It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. And with a splendid long aftertaste. The Westmalle Tripel is indeed called the 'mother of all tripels.' This type of beer was first brewed in Westmalle abbey in 1934 when the new brewing hall came into use. The current formula has stayed practically unchanged since 1956, thus more than 50 years." —brewer

Huyghe Delirium Tremens Size: 25.4oz

"Pale blond in color, the fine and regular effervescence ensures a fine and stable head. Slightly malty scent, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. On the palate, the heat of the alcohol ignites and warms the tongue and palate. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting, and bitter-dry." —brewer
