"Château Florie-Aude is the perfect expression of a quality Bordeaux wine. The constant efforts of winemaker and estate owner Daniel Brulatout, have resulted in this extraordinary and delicious red wine. The ripe fruit expression on the nose is followed by a smooth and silky finish on the palate." —winemaker

"Deep and dark red. On the nose intensely aromatic, with black fruits and spices. The palate is full, round and sexy. Round and smooth tannins present through the full bodied, ample wine. Overall a complete wine, with a long finish, with elegance and finesse accompanying the abundance of fruit and well-balanced tannins." —winemaker

"A rich, medium- to-full-bodied wine characterized by intense black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant) and ripe cherry notes. It combines this fruit-forward profile with fine tannins and a fresh, often savory, mineral finish, balancing high heat with surprising precision." —winemaker

"This Chateau is owned by the Mahler-Besse family, owners of Chateau Palmer in Margaux and many other first-class winemaking properties in Bordeaux and around the world. In 1964 they rebuilt this historic Bergerac property which lies less than six miles from the village of St. Emilion. The terroir is identical to right bank Bordeaux and so the vineyards hold 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon on clay and marl soils and the vines average 20 years of age. The Chateau Michel de Montaigne excels in this great vintage: presented well-colored and powerful, the tannins are present without excess. The bouquet being borne out, its powerful but silky mouth leads to predict a potential of very interesting ageing." —importer

"Deep garnet red with aromas of black cherry. This wine is fleshy, well-structured with the warm and savage of soils of the Roussillon area." —winemaker

"A custom cuvée for European Cellars and a joint project between Eric Solomon and Jean-Marc Lafage, Bastide Miraflors is a cuvée created from old vine Grenache grown on the schist and granite soils of Saint-Paul de Fenouillet, a terroir that always ripens late in the year, and Syrah from gravelly soils near the Mediterranean. After a long maceration of six weeks, the wine ages for 12 months in roughly 3/4 concrete vats and 1/4 600L French oak demi-muids." —winemaker

"A nose of red fruits, a deep and powerful structure, silky tannins: an elegant, complex and rich wine. These values give this wine an excellent aptitude for ageing." —winemaker

"Dark and very intense colour of deep ruby. Ripe aromas of small black fruit dominate (blackcurrant, blackberry), though with good freshness. The palate is fleshy, with a nice touch of tannin. Long, caressing finish. To be watched during ageing, which will seek to bring out the harmony and the balance." —winemaker
