"A beautiful, deep red color. It looks much younger than it is. Floral aromas predominate, with notes of roses, carnation, Mediterranean forest, garrigue, juniper, and thyme. The oak is very well integrated and doesn't overpower the wine. Intense fruitiness, with ripe plum. A very elegant finish with sweet, fine tannins. "Based on the Monastrell grape, one of the indigenous varieties of Valencia, Vermell also includes smaller portions of Garnacha Tintorera and Mandó in the final blend. Hand harvested, destemmed and fermented by natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks and stone lagars, then aged in amphorae, Vermell showcases the typical dark-fruit flavors and herbal nuances of Monastrell without being overripe, overbearing or overloaded with oak. "At the time of release, this wine showed a bright crimson red colour. On the nose, aromas of sweet ripe fruit and delicate notes of smokiness. On the palate, tastes of cherry, plum and blackberries combined with gentle clean aromas of oak. Elegant mouthfeel, a full body and a fresh and fruity aftertaste. "Intense, dark cherry-red colour with purple edges. High layer. Clean and bright. Dense tear that lightly dyes the glass. On the nose it is powerful, very intense and fresh. Initially, the elegant notes of Crianza appear, toasted and balsamic. When opened, the black fruit and a touch of very ripe red fruit is exposed, almost jam, at some point liquorice with a spicy and creamy lactic. Fine floral tobacco touches. In the mouth it is powerful and well- structured, fresh and very sweet. Surrounding entry with a smooth and rich taste." —winemaker
