"Sustained garnet appearance. Spicy and minty-red nose. Aromas of black fruits, fresh blackberry, and plum. Powerful mouth. Depth with lots of volume on the palate. Balanced with a finish on notes of prunes and cocoa." —winemaker
"Deep garnet red, with purple highlights. The bouquet mingles black fruits (blueberry, blackberry), spices and perfectly integrated wood. The palate is rich, round and fresh. Impressive and yet fine tannins, very promising. A long finish with vanilla aroma." —winemaker Blend: 5% Cabernet Franc, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

"The wines of Château Cissac are superior, classic wines, which combine the strength of the Médoc and the aromatic elegance of the greatest of the Bordeaux wines. They have a distinctive depth of colour and a subtle balance between aromas of cherry and plums, mingled with liquorice and smoke." —winemaker
Blend: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot
"Deep, garnet-coloured in appearance. The fresh character on the bouquet develops intense aromas of black berry fruits, spice and subtle oaky tones. The wine is generous, fleshy and crunchy on the palate, shot through with a seam of silky tannins. Overall the wine is well-balanced and fresh to the end, and culminates in a lingering, spicy finish." —winemaker

This rare terroir is planted of 72% of Merlot, 25% of Cabernet and 3% of Petit Verdot. The LAVAU family runs the estate since 8 generations now and make a complex, racy Saint-Emilion Grand Cru." —winemaker

"The color is intense, deep and steady. The nose shows maturity with aromas of black fruits and warm spices. We find the soils of origin are revealed with floral notes (violet) which are lightly smoky. We can find the same aromatic notes on the Northern Côtes du-Rhône soils, which are the birthplace of the Syrah. The attack is both supple and powerful. Tannins are at the same time powerful and tight. The finale is fresh without any heaviness." —winemaker
