Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel

"Intense ruby color. Fruity odor composed mainly of fresh red berries, woodland fruits, jam, spices and a slight hint of roasted flavors. It has a fruity, soft, elegant and harmonious flavor. Quinta de Cabriz is located between the two main rivers that cross the Dao region, the Mondego and the Dao. It is a secular "quinta" (farm) so along with a 17th century manor house there is also a chapel." —winemaker

Blend: 40% Alfrocheiro, 40% Aragonez, 20% Touriga Nacional

"The deep ruby color indicates a luxe complexity, while aromas of black cherry, cassis and rich earth are abundant in this classic Cabernet Sauvignon. On entry, currants and black plums generously lead to a plush mouthfeel. There are ample tannins carrying the fruit to the long lingering finish. Aging for 12 months in 1-year-old American oak barrels created notes of baking spices, nutmeg and hints of caramel." —winemaker

"Attractive red color with soft purplish tones. Fruity and typical nose of this variety. Black cherries and berries aromas are mixed with sweet notes of chocolate and mocha.
