"The nose of our Pommard Premier Cru "Les Rugiens" is fine yet powerful with predominant scents of red fruit followed by very well integrated notes of smoky oak. This wine boasts lovely length, nice density and classy tannins." —winemaker

"The 2020 Pommard Les Rugiens 1er Cru, which comes from Rugiens-Bas, certainly has one of the best aromatics from Bichot in this vintage with well-defined red berry fruit, briary and crushed rose petals, sous-bois scents emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, partial whole bunch lending pepperiness towards the finish. This is definitely worth seeking out." —Vinous

"Exhibiting a nose of dark cherry and blackcurrant, nuanced with notes of creosote, graphite, cloves and vanilla. This dense and full-bodied wine is layered from the start and finished with powerful coating tannins. This wine has an incredible oily texture and a multi-dimensional structure with amazing balance, power and sophistication - it is sure to age gracefully for years." —winemaker

"The Pact shows beautiful dark blueberry and blackberry aromas over layers of crushed-rock minerality, haunting forest notes and hints of violet. With the texture of velvet—luxuriously dense—the palate wraps that core of blue and back fruit with the barest edge of bright cherry spiced with star anise and savory dried tarragon. Silky tannins and generous ripe fruit linger through an endless, vibrant finish. There’s a long life ahead for this Cabernet." —winemaker

Pahlmeyer Jayson Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

"Classic Napa Valley Cabernet aromas of ripe blackberry and red currant are underpinned by an alluring dark forest floor earthiness and a high note of red licorice/candy shop. Valley floor fruit brings mouth-filling plushness to the palate, while concentrated mountain fruit drives through the core. Focused black fruit –cherry, plum, and raspberry –surge long and deep with hints of black olive and freshly cracked pepper. Polished tannins frame and lengthen the palate as a balancing acidity provides a magnifying lift. The finish is long, juicy, and plush with a thrust of grippy tannin, persisting with notes of vanilla bean, warm spice, and toasted hazelnut." —winemaker
