Johnnie Walker Master Blender Emma Walker started creating this special blend by going through the archives and hand selecting the rarest of single malts from the most norther distilleries in Scotland, including famed distillery Brora and the highest distillery in Scotland: Dalwhinnie. These single malts were carefully laid during Scotland's coldest winters, when the critical first phase of maturation is mellowed, allowing more of the beautiful distillery character to come through. Only one in 10,000 casks succeeds in bringing this character to life.

"Remus Bourbon is proud to announce an official partnership with the Babe Ruth Family that has culminated in the release of Remus Babe Ruth Reserve, a special collector’s bourbon inspired by perhaps the greatest icon of the Roaring 20s, the immortal Babe Ruth. Aged for 6-7 years and 111 proof, Remus Babe Ruth Reserve leads off with brown sugar and fig on the nose. On the first sip, slight mint and brown sugar step up, followed by candied pecans, slight fennel and rye spice. The Remus Babe Ruth Reserve experience closes out with rye spice and cinnamon.
