"Straffe Hendrik Tripel is a golden triple with a sturdy white collar. The aroma is spicy with hints of black pepper, coriander and ginger, and even hints at the presence of oranges. The beer is brewed with a selection of Saaz and Styrian hops of a very high quality. The subtle blend of six special varieties of malt gives the beer a well-balanced and powerful taste. The palate initiates a hint of caramel, soon flowing into a certain bitterness. In the finish one can discover citrus fruits and even subtle flavours of banana." —brewer

"Westmalle Tripel is a clear, golden yellow Trappist beer that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle (9.5% alcohol). It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. And with a splendid long aftertaste. The Westmalle Tripel is indeed called the 'mother of all tripels.' This type of beer was first brewed in Westmalle abbey in 1934 when the new brewing hall came into use. "Hendrick's is distilled in small batches in Ayrshire, Scotland. This "Most Iconoclastic Gin" is infused with Bulgarian roses and cucumbers among many other ingredients to give it a unique aroma and flavor profile. Crystal clear, sprightly, a few legs on swirling, which then become droplets on the side of the glass. Slightly oily appearance to body (sign of quality). More perfume than a regular gin, rose, cucumber, coriander witch hazel and cassia, with citrus and other aromatics adding to the blend. Medium to light body aromatic blend of spices and floral scents, mild tingling on the lips and tongue lingering finish. Very clean distillation. Slight warming burn on the way down. Lingering finish with floral and citrus notes and the smoothness of cucumber is apparent." -producer
