Dominus 2019

Size: 750ml

James Suckling: 98

"Dominus Estate is the Napa Valley property of Bordeaux producer Christian Moueix. The wine is bottled from the historic Napanook Vineyard. Located at the foothills of the Mayacamas, the vineyard was planted in 1838 and continues to evolve under the stewardship of Christian Moueix. The estate’s Bordeaux varietals benefit from the Yountville microclimate where temperatures are moderated by cool breezes from the San Pablo Bay. The resulting wine is a uniquely refined expression of this special terroir." —winemaker

"Lots of crushed stone, lead pencil and licorice aromas that are extremely aromatic and bright. Black cherries, cloves and purple fruit, too. Full body and a round and ripe center-palate with a juicy interior. It opens at the end with a savory and juicy finish. Layered and beautiful. Drinkable now, but better in three or four years." —James Suckling

Chateau Miraval Cotes de Provence Rose 2022 Size: 750ml

47019
"Sublime bright, translucent color of a very pure pale-pink with shiny reflections. The nose immediately reveals the elegance of Miraval Rosé with its superb, very delicate aromatic bouquet subtly combining fresh fruit, citrus notes and white flowers. The finesse continues on the palate with a full, rich and complex texture, gourmet aromas of white peaches and a great tension, perfectly balanced by natural acidity and minerality with saline and limestone notes, specific to the Provençal terroir. The finish is superb, with great length and slightly iodized saline notes. A typical Miraval vintage with signature flavors." —winemaker

"The 2019 Insignia opens with heady aromatics of red fruit, crème de cassis, leafy tobacco and delicate dried rose petals. The palate is juicy and dense with expressive layers of blackberry, raspberry, black currant, and dark chocolate. A dynamic wine offering captivating energy, length, complexity and refinement. The 2019 Insignia marks the first vintage to include fruit from the new Joseph Phelps vineyard named El Venadito, located in the Oak Knoll District, just south of the winery’s Yountville Vineyard." —winemaker

Taylor Fladgate 50-Year-Old Tawny Port Golden Age Size: 750ml

44888
"Chestnut, copper color core with a light golden rim. The primary aromas are elegant, rich and very delicate. Notes of rum and raisin, clove, nutmeg and a hint of cracked black pepper. Prunes, quince and apricot dance on your palate as the zest of lemon and orange deliver a freshness of acidity to balance the richness of the wine. Notes of scorched pineapple, passion fruit and lychee balance beautifully with the toasted coconut, almonds and butterscotch. The texture and weight of the wine wraps the palate and finishes bright, fresh and poised. The wine lingers for an eternity, beckoning you in for more." —winemaker
