Graham's 20-Year-Old Tawny Port

Size: 750ml

James Suckling: 94, Decanter: 96

"Amber, golden tawny color. An excellent bouquet, with a characteristic 'nutty' character, such as almonds, and delicious mature fruit with hints of orange peel. Rich, sweet and smooth on the palate, it is perfectly balanced, with a long and lingering finish. Graham's 20-Year-Old Tawny Port pairs extremely well with vanilla ice cream or crème brûlée. Serve slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine." —winemaker

"Tawny Port is always exciting, but if you can afford to splash out, go for a 20 Year Old. All the major houses make wonderful aged tawnies and this is always one of the best. Ethereal and mellow on the palate, it boasts flavours of toffee and caramel, burnt orange and raisins, dried plums, hazelnuts and a savoury hint of mushroom on the finish. Wonderful stuff!" —Decanter

"Dried cherry, iodine and peat with some watermelon. Hints of toffee and bark. Medium-to full-bodied, sweet and layered with a tannin texture and rich finish. Tangy and focused. Drink now." —James Suckling

Graham's 10-Year-Old Tawny Port Size: 750ml

""10 Years" indicates an average age – this Aged Tawny Port is a blend of older wines, which offer complexity and younger wines, which bring fresh fruit flavors and vibrancy. During their long maturing period in oak casks, Aged Tawnies undergo subtle color changes: the deep red hue which characterizes Port's youth gradually gives way to a paler reddish amber color. Graham's is known for its rich, elegant house style. This 10 Year has a full, nutty bouquet, the classic Graham's richness and a soft lingering finish." —winemaker

Ferreira Dona Antonia Reserva Tawny Port Size: 750ml

"Ferreira Dona Antónia has a beautiful red colour, with intense tawny shades that recall its slow maturation in wood. Its bouquet is intense and rich with hints of very ripe fruit (plum, apricot, and marmalade) and floral notes. Complex, its spice and dry fruit notes derive from the evolution in oak wood, through oxidation. In the mouth, it is a full-bodied and rich-flavoured wine, extremely well-balanced, that combines elegance with a delicate yet persistent finish. Ferreira Dona Antónia is a most versatile Porto wine. It is very good served on its own, accompanying some selected entrées, or as dessert wine. It also beautifully accompanies most sweets, dessertsm and cheeses. Serve slightly cold for fuller appreciation." —importer

Bunratty Meade Size: 750ml

"For authentic Irish drinks, one need look no farther than Bunratty Meade Honey Wine, made from white wine with honey and herbs. The drink of ancient Gauls and Anglo Saxons, Mead was originally made by monks centuries ago from fermented honey and water. Mead soon made its way into the courts of the Four Kings of Ireland and no banquet was complete without it.

"This honey-based drink was said to possess powers of virility and fertility, and it became custom for a bride and groom to drink mead for one full moon after their wedding, giving birth to the word 'honeymoon.' In Ireland today, it is still tradition to toast the bride and groom with a glass of Meade when they depart on their honeymoon from the wedding feast.

"Bunratty Meade Honey Wine is superb when chilled and served over ice. A mixture of wine, honey, and herbs, Meade is a completely authentic Irish drink." —winemaker
