"Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely considered one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, fighting for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, nearly three decades after he purchased what is now called Buffalo Trace Distillery. During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative methods still used today, including climate controlled aging warehouses. E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel is aged exclusively in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent aging warehouse. Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honor its namesake. The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palette for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor's original design used over a century ago." —producer

"A medium dark amber color is accompanied by a spicy, earthy nose exhibiting aromas of honey, wood spice and a touch of smoke. There is no harshness to this superb bourbon. It displays a velvety, full-throttle mouthfeel with noticeable, but not distracting alcohol. Caramelized, smoky, honeyed flavors coat the palate and provide a beautiful, complex sipping beverage." —Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

"No shrinking violet here; this is a big, powerful Bourbon with a finish that just won't quit. The honey-colored spirit has a sweet, heavy caramel aroma with some deep, somber espresso notes. Look for rounded burnt-orange flavor and lots of cinnamon and nutmeg on the dry, elongated finish. Temper the alcohol sting with ice water—it's 100 proof, after all. History buffs will love the old-school style of the bottle and label." —Kara Newman, Wine Enthusiast Magazine

"Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel is a rich and intense dark Belgian ale. It is brewed with a subtle blend of specialty malts, which give the ale an extremely dark color and a chewy, malty complex character. The quadrupel combines a clean dryness with a warm full bodied mouth feel and essences of fruit. Secondary fermentation in the bottle creates a living ale that can be aged and will have an evolution of taste profiles over time." —brewer

"Straffe Hendrik Tripel is a golden triple with a sturdy white collar. The aroma is spicy with hints of black pepper, coriander and ginger, and even hints at the presence of oranges. The beer is brewed with a selection of Saaz and Styrian hops of a very high quality. The subtle blend of six special varieties of malt gives the beer a well-balanced and powerful taste. The palate initiates a hint of caramel, soon flowing into a certain bitterness. In the finish one can discover citrus fruits and even subtle flavours of banana." —brewer

"Aged for at least 6 months in American Oak bourbon barrels, the “rested” tequila – G4 Reposado builds on the character of the blanco, but adds to the aroma hints of peach and licorice, with a small hints of grapefruit and lighter pepper in the tasting." —producer
