"Grapes for this Pinot Noir come from Santa Barbara County, where brilliant sunshine and coastal breezes create wines with complexity and balance. Santa Barbara wine country is situated between two mountain ranges with elevations extending from 200 feet in the valley to 3,400 feet in the hillside vineyards. The chill of the fog and breezes in the region help prolong the growing season, which allows grapes to fully ripen without excessive sugar levels and makes wines from this region elegant and unique." —winemaker
