"Brilliantly, light yellow in color with greenish tints. Strong and lively nose, typical Malagouzia, suggesting rose petal with floral aromas and sweet spices, melon, litchi with a note of honeysuckle. Round and mellow on the palate, fat but balanced, high in alcohol with plenty of finesse. Well structured, reminding the nose aromas with a hint of rosemary. A richly textured wine with superb length and balance. A classy wine with long finish and persistent aromas." —winemaker

"The Alpha Estate 2025 Malagouzia Turtles Single Vineyard is delicately floral and bright, with notes of stone fruit, honeydew melon and exotic white flowers that vaguely recall jasmine and plumeria. This unoaked wine is firm and fresh, with a mineral edge that adds zest, energy and a glossy texture. The Turtles vineyard benefits from sandy clay soils over limestone and cool mountain influences that help preserve aromatic lift and freshness. Aged on the fine lees for two months with regular stirring, the wine maintains varietal purity while gaining subtle texture. Produced in 300,000 bottles, this is a charming and accessible expression of Malagouzia, a Greek grape that enjoys enormous popularity at local tavernas, where baked feta and grilled vegetables emerge from the kitchen in the hands of frenzied waiters balancing trays overhead." —Wine Advocate

"Dark ruby red color. The bouquet on the nose is intense and typical with hints of dark cherries and blackberries together with more complex aromas of wet leather, black olive and Indian ink in the background. On the palate it is dry, rich, full-bodied, with a refreshing, long and fruity finish." —winemaker

"Petite Sirah is known for its concentration and intensity, this vintage is no exception. Inky purple in the glass, this deeply colored wine resonates with juicy blueberries and hints of freshly turned earth. Succulent and savory notes of dark berries and roasted spices create a supple and mouth-filling texture. Aging in American oak for 12 months captures and concentrates the flavors, leading to a finish with chalky and chewy tannins laced with vanilla, toasted brown sugar and dark cocoa." —winemaker
