Deep, savory cassis, tobacco and berries, with a touch of citrus, graphite and roasted spices. Medium- to full-bodied, with ripe juicy fruit. The mid-palate is still dense, with fine-grained tannins that are still tight-wound in a long finish. Obviously a very good year for Giscours. A blend of 70% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot and 5% petit verdot." —James Suckling
