"Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass led the development of the latest release from The Dalmore, the first expression to be finished in hand-selected, rare Pedro Ximénez casks from the House of Gonzalez Byass. The sun-drenched, intense sweetness of the Pedro Ximénez sherry wine adds delicious new layers of flavour and perfectly complements The Dalmore’s house style and rich notes of citrus, liquorice and caramel. With notes of figs, Medjool dates and maple syrup, The Dalmore 14 Year is ideal to cherish and enjoy with others." —producer

"Inspired to produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea to import Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. After deep toasting them at The Balvenie Cooperage they were filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a delectably complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla." —producer

"The richly layered Glenfiddich 15-year-old single malt Scotch whisky is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in our unique, handcrafted Oregon pine Solera vat. Year on year, this Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky which gets more complex and intriguing every year." —producer

"The Macallan Sherry Oak is exclusively matured for a minimum of 12 years in Spanish oak casks, handcrafted and sherry seasoned in Jerez, Spain. This delivers a classic Macallan style, wonderfully rich in colour with dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange.

"Rich gold colour. Vanilla with a hint of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke. Deliciously smooth, rich dried fruits and sherry, balanced with wood smoke and spice. Sweet toffee and dried fruits, with wood smoke and spice." —producer

"Inspired by his memory of entering a French pastry shop, Dr Bill Lumsden first brought a whisky of dessert-like complexity to life in Glenmorangie The Nectar D’Or. Now, he has taken its swirls of sweet scents and spice to new heights of deliciousness, in our award-winning Glenmorangie The Nectar. Aged longer, for 16 years, in an enhanced combination of bourbon and sweet white wine casks, this new whisky is even more sumptuous and complex. For extra depth and creaminess, silky Glenmorangie aged for 14 years in bourbon casks was selected. The whisky was then finished for two more years in a new combination of sweet white wine casks. Sauternes and Monbazillac casks from France bring sumptuous notes of pastry, brioche, meringue and baked apples. Moscatel casks from Spain offer sweet, syrupy dessert-like notes. And Tokaji casks from Hungary, add white chocolate, almond and honeycomb flavours to their creation." —producer

"When Lagavulin 16 Year Old joined the Classic Malts portfolio in 1989, the belief within owner UD [now Diageo] was that it would be the single malt which only the most dedicated – even crazy – drinker would attempt to conquer. Smoke, it was felt in those early days of single malt, was a step too far for most people. Today, the world has fallen in love with smoke and Lagavulin’s complex mix of seashore and moor, pipe smoke, Lapsang Souchong, bog myrtle, and rich dark fruits is a destination for many." —producer

"The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured in traditional whisky oak casks before being transferred to casks that previously held Caribbean rum for a final period of maturation. After 14 years it is ‘finished’ in American oak casks previously filled with a blend of carefully selected West Indian rums. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water to expand the flavor. Handcrafted to be enjoyed responsibly." —producer
