"Lifted and concentrated aromas of passion fruit, green melon, and hints of fresh-cut grass all dance on the nose. The palate is linear and intense, with similar flavors that are joined by notes of kiwi and Key lime. Each sip is framed with mouthwatering acidity and a burst of grapefruit that lifts the long finish." —winemaker
"The 2022 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is bright, crisp, and refreshing with aromatic notes of white peach, lemon verbena, lime peel, and white elderflower. More subtle notes of brioche toast and biscuit crumb support the lively fruit (a nod to the subtle oak influence) alongside a delicate mineral flintiness. The palate is rich, creamy, and round with notes of Meyer lemon, green apple, lime pith, cassis bud, and lychee. There is a zippy, racy acidity throughout, creating a mouthwatering texture and lively backbone that carries all the way through to the long, lip-smackingly crisp finish." —winemaker
"The special care they take to bring out the very best in this variety shows in their results. They use a specific mix of clones – two-thirds Shenandoah (Clone 1) and one-third Sauvignon Musqué – that results in a wine brimming with floral and tropical fruit aromatics with a citrusy, juicy core. Barrel fermentation and twice weekly lees stirring help us create the characteristic creamy texture and rich body that you’ve come to know and share with your friends and family." —winemaker
"Like walking into a floral conservatory in full bloom of white citrus and jasmine. Full of locally farmed ripe honeydew melon, white nectarine, warmed pink grapefruit, and Meyer lemon aromas and flavors. This wine begins with a dense, sweet, ripe fruit and has great weight and body influenced by the portion of the blend that was fermented in a barrel." —winemaker

The palate is lush and lively, combining a silky texture and energetic acidity with fresh melon, citrus, and pineapple flavors framed by subtle minerality throughout a long, bright finish." —winemaker
"This Sauvignon Blanc beams with freshness and breadth, delivering voluminous layers of bright fruit and floral notes that ride on lifting acidity. Opening notes of citrus blossom, lemongrass, and Kefir lime leaf lead to gooseberry, Key lime, and lemon meringue on the juicy, well-textured mid-palate. Refreshingly crisp, the finish echoes with peach and green apple." —winemaker
"Cakebread 2023 Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of pink grapefruit, lemon curd, fresh pear, melon, and passionfruit. Flavors of citrus, kiwi, and lemon zest give way to more subtle hints of mango, guava, and pineapple. Crisp and refreshing, this light-bodied wine beautifully balances concentrated fruit flavors and lively acidity with a gently textured mineral finish." —winemaker
"The 2023 vintage offers a very pure expression of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, a captivating balance of weight and intensity with bright, fresh acidity. Aromas of lemongrass, orange blossom, pink grapefruit, and Key lime pie are mirrored on the focused, layered palate. A dynamic interplay of ripe fruit, rich sur lie texture, and brisk acidity amplifies and extends through the mid-palate, introducing hints of white pepper and crushed rock. The finish is long and mouthwatering, the bracing high notes slowly melting into an echo of candied grapefruit peel." —winemaker
"The 2021 Captûre Sauvignon Blanc from high atop Pine Mountain is as fresh and intriguing as the vineyard itself. Explosive aromas of key lime, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and pineapple slowly subside allowing the softer notes of white peach, green apple, lemon meringue and orange blossom guide you into the glass. The aroma isn’t complete without the vineyards trademark hint of savory mountain scrub best described as soft chamomile or dried sage. On the palate, the first sip is electric. The natural acidity is extremely bright and showcased by the varieties trademark citrus fruits, which are then joined by more floral and tropical flavors that battle to be the most pronounced the longer you explore. The initial flavors then give way to minerality, an elegant texture and an overall softness that is achieved through lees stirring and is the secret in balancing the high acidity. This balancing act is what makes this wine so mouthwatering and almost irresistible for that next sip." —winemaker
