This variety produces wines rich in color, with firm but delicate and structuring tannins. Coming from the vineyards of Quinta do Paço, with about 25 years, located in the sub-region of Serra da Estrela, Dão region. Wine Anthology Team Review-One of the hidden gems from this past year for me. An un-oaked red from Portugal that really allows the grape to show itself off. Savory with compote fruit flavors, this is a red that can handle a slight chill before drinking. Also an excellent food wine, enjoy this with freshly grilled red snapper and peppers. Cheers!
