Wine Anthology Team Review-An extremely unique wine from Slovenia. This is an "orange" wine, which is to say, a white wine that has gone through "skin contact" like a red wine and retains an orange hue after fermentation. They call this a white wine for red wine lovers. It has a light amber color with an aromatically rich nose of golden apple, quince, sweet brown spice and hints of honey. The wine rounds out nicely with flavors from the nose and a long, lingering finish with good minerality. The type of wine Slovenia is known for! Cheers!
