"Straw-yellow with golden reflections. Complex perfumes with scents of white peach, lavender flower, honey, vanilla and tropical fruits. Of good structure, full, soft and of long persistence." —winemaker Wine Anthology Team Review-A wonderful alternative white for all you Pinot Grigio drinkers. The name Pecorino is translated as "little sheep" because sheep in Marche, Italy would snack on the grapes in lower pastures. Great acidity and a high sugar content make this a crisp, full flavored, easy drinking white. Pecorino cheese (made from Sheep's milk) goes wonderfully with it. Also have with steamed fish with ginger sauce and Chicken thighs with roasted red pepper and caramelized onion sauce. Enjoy! |

"The 2020 Pecorino Zite is sweetly scented and floral, showing notes of crushed apple, candied citrus and a hint of vanilla bean. This is silky, almost oily in texture with ripe orchard fruits. Brisk acids and mineral underpinnings maintain balance in check. Zests of lime and a hint of kiwi lingers through the long, slightly tart, yet refreshing finale." —Vinous |
