"The Rivina Vineyard was planted 18 years ago in the Fort-Ross Seaview sub-appellation of the West Sonoma Coast, and the fruit is used exclusively for Ceritas wines. The vines were planted in tight rows to increase competition and force them to struggle for nutrients, farming is organic, and there is no irrigation. The hard sandstone and quartz soils in combination with its extremely close proximity to the Pacific Ocean and high elevation create wines with incredible energy and concentration." —winemaker |

"The 2018 Pinot Noir Rivina offers a deep well of perfume: dried rose petals, blood orange, bergamot, mint and loamy earth accent deep red and black berry fruits. The medium-bodied palate is stunning, firm but silky with seamless freshness and singular flavor layers, finishing very long and very layered. This gorgeous wine will require another 2-3 years in bottle to show its best." —Wine Advocate |
