Produced in the Kvareli district, in the Republic of Georgia, this 100%-Saperavi wine has a very dark rich, red ruby color. Strong characteristic nose exhibiting touches of fresh berries. Was very surprised. I am not usually a semi/or sweet wine drinker, but the fact these Dozortsev wines come from the oldest wine making country in the world, I thought how could I go wrong. Delicious. After dinner, or with some red meat. Cheers!
