Dansk Mjod

You will find Dansk Mjød on the outskirts of Billund, a town in mid-Jutland. This traditional brewery has brewed mead since 1994. At Dansk Mjød, our brewing process uses high-quality natural ingredients and traditional recipes, just as in the days of old. Past meets present here, with new products inspired by centuries of myths and stories about mead. We combine traditional brewing methods and work processes with a modern take on quality and flavour. 

Dansk Mjød is a small family-owned business managed by Michael Brogaard, with a small team of employees to handle production and sales.  At Dansk Mjød we have a tradition of developing our own equipment for the brewing process. Accordingly, Dansk Mjød can only be produced from our particular recipe and with our equipment – which makes our mead totally unique.
