Baileys began with a bold idea—to blend two of Ireland’s most cherished treasures, rich dairy cream and renowned Irish whiskey, into something entirely new. After two years of experimentation, the perfect recipe was crafted in 1974, combining fresh cream, fine spirits, and indulgent flavors like chocolate and vanilla. Today, Baileys continues to be made with care, using roughly 200 million liters of milk each year from small, family-owned farms where cows graze on lush, green pastures.
