"Ruby red color, blackberry and raspberry on the nose. Medium bodied with smooth tannins, plum fruit and a note of vanilla on the finish." —winemaker

"The Jayson Red is rich and fleshy, with our mountain-grown Merlot at its core. Expressive aromas of crushed black cherry, mushroom, and leather lead to a ripe, focused palate of black cherry and black currant laced with mocha and toasty spice. The mid-palate is mouth-filling and plush with caressing polished tannins that guide the interlaid flavors long through a pure, persistent finish." —winemaker

"This wine reflects the region’s distinct textures, flavors and terroir, with beautiful elegance and balance. Since the inaugural vintage in 1998, founding winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash has drawn upon longstanding relationships with grower neighbors and friends, to source fruit from the most distinguished vineyards. The 2022 vintage explores six sub-AVAs, culminating in a Pinot Noir emblematic of the Willamette Valley, and of the Penner-Ash winemaking style – a textural experience from start to finish." —winemaker

"Beautiful garnet red color. Soft aromas of red fruits like strawberries, cherries, and red currants. Fine spicy impressions accompany the beautifully integrated fruit. A hint of cedar and cocoa complete the palate. Deliciously soft and balanced mouthfeel. Velvety and long finish." —winemaker
