"The J. Lohr Estates Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon is dense and dark at the core, with a brilliant garnet hue around the rim. Ripe fruit aromas of black cherry and currant are accented by notes of toasted pastry, hazelnut, and vanilla from our barrel aging program. Big, juicy red-fruit flavors infuse the palate while softly textured tannins lead to a long finish." —winemaker

"Full and dense, with strong black & blue fruit notes up front from the Petite Sirah, complemented by bright red, slightly candied fruit in the background from the Zinfandel. The darkly toasted oak ties it all together along with a slightly sweet finish." —winemaker

"This Cabernet Sauvignon was the first wine Josh Cellars made. This is the wine that started it all, setting the exacting standards that they hold themselves to for all of their varietals. Round and juicy, this Cabernet Sauvignon has flavors of blackberry, toasted hazelnut and cinnamon, complemented by hints of vanilla and toasted oak." —winemaker

"Smooth and full mouthfeel with a bold structure. Rich blackberry and dark plum from the Cabernet with sweet aromatics of crème brûlée obtained from time in Bourbon barrels." —winemaker
