"To achieve the perfect balance of flavor and color for Beringer’s White Merlot, the wine making team gently pressed the Merlot grapes and left the red skins in contact with the juice for approximately three hours, leaving a soft, red-purple hue. The winemakers used a slow, cool fermentation to retain the bright acidity, fresh melon and citrus flavors. The resulting wine is a vibrant blend of fresh berry and zesty orange peel flavors, with a hint of nutmeg spice." -winemaker
