"Quite possibly the finest Ripasso tasted of late. Passed over the skins of Amarone as opposed to the 'double fermentation' technique that some others champion. A dusty swathe of oak segues to pithy cherry amaro, alpine herb, lilac and mint. This is full-weighted, yet more medium of feel, succulent and so deft on its feet that it brings such a smile.
