"Pale yellow in color, this vintage is very delicate, elegant, mineral and floral. In the mouth these impressions are completed with notes of yellow fruit, such as peach and pineapple, combined with subtle sensations of toasted wood, presenting a firm, very fresh, mineral, long and complex finish." —winemaker |

"The 2021 Catarina is a blend of 55% Fernão Pires, 35% Chardonnay and the rest Arinto, unoaked and coming in at 12.7% alcohol. This is partially fermented with wood chips. Despite the low-end price and that bargain fermentation process, this shows great, seeming rich, burnished, fresh and flavorful. It never becomes overly fruity but stays a bit serious. This is a fine bargain. You could spend a lot more and get a lot less." —Wine Advocate |
