"The family de Malet Roquefort is installed at Saint Emilion since 1705. Owner of several vineyards (Bordeaux and Saint Emilion AOC) and the famous Chateau La Gaffelière, 1st Growth. They are proud of their roots and their “terroirs” diversity. The wines are well-known for their elegance. Comtesse de Malet Roquefort is mainly elaborated from the vineyards of the family. Clean, crisp, and juicy; fresh and racy; dry, smooth, and long." —importer

"Pale yellow color with green tints. The wine exhibits citrus aromas (lemon, grapefruit) with smoky notes. Fresh and very aromatic attack. The palate is round, with a great acidity (coming from the later ripening sites at higher altitude). A lot of freshness on the finish mixed with salty notes, which express the minerality of the wine." —winemaker

Blend: 33% Gewurztraminer, 30% Sylvaner, 17% Pinot Blanc, 7% Riesling, 7% Pinot Gris, 6% Muscat

One of the greatest white wine values in our portfolio, the final wine blends these ancient grapes with up to 20% younger vine Roussanne. To make a rich and balanced wine, the grapes are harvested in two passes, the first when they just reach ripeness and are still high in acidity and a second pass when the grapes are fully ripe with rich fruit flavors. The wine is then aged in a combination of tank and new French oak barrels." —winemaker
