"The young red 2019 Viñas de Gaín was produced with Tempranillo grapes from different vineyards in Laguardia and Elvillar at 450 to 700 meters in altitude, and it fermented in oak and stainless steel vats followed by malolactic in barrel and an élevage in barrel for nine months. They aimed for a fresh, fruit-driven and juicy red that comes from a low-yielding year, so the wine is concentrated but keeps the approachable style. It has nice balance. In warmer and riper years, they do shorter macerations at lower temperature and a short élevage to keep the aromatic and fruit-driven character, avoiding heavy wines. This is always a very good value within the Artadi range. 90,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2020." —Wine Advocate

Bodegas Olarra Cerro Anon Reserva Rioja 2018 Size: 750ml

44904
"At the time of release, this wine showed a bright crimson red colour. On the nose, aromas of sweet ripe fruit and delicate notes of smokiness. On the palate, tastes of cherry, plum and blackberries combined with gentle clean aromas of oak. Elegant mouthfeel, a full body and a fresh and fruity aftertaste. This wine still has plenty of life in it and should drink very well for the next 10-15 years." —winemaker

Luis Saenz Rioja Tempranillo 2021 Size: 750ml

"Intense colour to blackberry with violet tones. It is a very aromatic wine, intense with lots of sweet red fruit and with vanilla notes. Hints of black licorice. The palate is soft and pleasant, with notes of red fruits, sweet black licorice and light chocolate. Delicate finish. Pair well with red meats, meaty fish, tomato, and pasta." —winemaker

Emilio Lustau East India Solera Sherry Size: 750ml

"East India is an appealing deep tawny brown, and offers a complex, mature nose of burnt sugar, spices, raisins, chocolate, walnuts and orange peel. It is sweet and full-bodied, with a smooth, almost treacle-like consistency, but good balancing acidity. There is a faint rancio character that adds complexity, and a fresh, everlasting finish." —winemaker

"Nino Franco's non-vintage sparkling Rustico Prosecco is unquestionably the world's finest value in a high quality, Champagne look-alike. The non-vintage, light-bodied Prosecco di Valdobiaddene Rustico offers gorgeously elegant, fresh, lively fruit, notes of bread dough and citrus, and persistent effervescence." —winemaker

Wine Anthology Team Review-A fantastic prosecco for the money! From the best area of prosecco, Valdobiaddene, this bottle possesses everything a real prosecco lover would want : aromas of white spring flower, pear and citrus with flavors of crisp yellow apple, lemon drop and orange zest. Refreshing and silky on the palate, a perfect addition to any brunch! Cheers!
