"The 2018 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is our first offering from the appellation. A 50/50 blend of fruit from the Yamhill Carlton AVA and the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Fermented with 24% whole cluster to improve structure and lift; this wine exhibits the best the Willamette Valley has to offer. Ripe black cherry, baking spice and firm tannins make this a perfect pairing with pan seared duck breast or a mushroom risotto." —winemaker |

"This is given a bit of a twist, with one-quarter whole-cluster fermentation in concrete. The bright fruit shines through with sharp flavors of cranberry, raspberry and spicy plum. Vivid acidity adds lift and life, while the tannins bring in stem and green tea notes. One-quarter of the barrels for aging were new, and overall this young wine should develop and even improve over the rest of the decade." —Wine Enthusiast |
