"Intense ruby color. Fruity odor composed mainly of fresh red berries, woodland fruits, jam, spices and a slight hint of roasted flavors. It has a fruity, soft, elegant and harmonious flavor. Quinta de Cabriz is located between the two main rivers that cross the Dao region, the Mondego and the Dao. It is a secular "quinta" (farm) so along with a 17th century manor house there is also a chapel." —winemaker Blend: 40% Alfrocheiro, 40% Aragonez, 20% Touriga Nacional |

"Aromas of currants, blueberries, thyme and olives. Some dark chocolate and walnut, too. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and excellent balance. Tasty chocolate and spice notes at the end. Touriga nacional, aragonez and alfrocheiro. Drink or hold." —James Suckling |
