"The fruit source of the 2020 Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir features the debut of the Perilune Vineyard – a picturesque hillside vineyard on the North side of Highway 246 in the Santa Rita Hills. This young vineyard is supplemented by the Hapgood, Machado and John Sebastiano Vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills, as well as Julia’s Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley providing an additional layer of aromatic finesse and vibrancy. The dark fruit notes of Santa Rita Hills and the red-fruited spice of the Santa Maria Valley produce a Pinot Noir that is uniquely Santa Barbara County." —winemaker |
