"Clear, bright, mid-intensity, garnet color. Clean and intense aromas. Fruits of the forest and red fruit aromas with hints of earthiness and spice. Dry and fresh palate, marked acidity. Broad and balanced, full and meaty with flavors of fruits of the forest and spice. Some attractive bitterness and green notes, characteristic of the grape variety. A wine with minerality and distinctive character. Persistent on the palate." —winemaker Wine Anthology Team Review-One of the unsung varietals from Spain, Graciano can be very pleasantly surprising. Possessing good depth and complexity it combines both ripeness and freshness in it's expression. Great for having a glass on it's own or certain to pair well with Spanish Duck with olives in sherry sauce. Cheers! |

"The varietal Graciano 2019 Cuatro del Cuatro reflects the warm and healthy vintage with a wine with 13.93% alcohol and a low pH of 3.35 from vineyards in Corella on stony soils. The grapes fermented in stainless steel and the wine matured in 225-, 300- and 500-liter oak barrels for 15 months. This is a very surprising Graciano, full of personality and with a nose that combines herbal freshness and note of wild berries and flowers. This has a lighter color and a lighter body than the majority of Graciano; they say it's the strain they have. But the wine has very good depth and complexity. It's medium-bodied, combining moderate ripeness and vibrant herbal freshness. This is quite open, intense without excess and with some varietal character. Here, they select the grapes they use and the barrels. 3,060 bottles were filled in February 2021." —Wine Advocate |
