"The oldest recorded vineyards of the Nahe are located in this part of the village of Norheim. Kirsche means “cherry”, so the age-old name of the site likely refers to the wild cherries that grow even today amidst the vines. The site faces due south and its soils are composed largely of grey slate mixed with sandstone." —importer Wine Anthology Team Review-A wine whose flavor is so inviting it literally dares you to not take another sip, and you can't do it! Plush and full in the mouth this wine is both full of flavor and wonderfully expressive in the glass. Exactly the reason you will find Rieslings like this on the finest wine lists in the world. Cheers! |

"The 2020 Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese is clear, pure and intense on the nose like a fine Italian perfume on wet, crushed stones. Lush and round on the palate, this is a dense yet very delicate and dangerously juicy and stimulating mineral Spätlese that is irresistible. Impossible to spit out. This long and salty Spätlese is singing. 8.5% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in July 2021." —Wine Advocate "Captivating aromas of a garden dripping with rain after a summer storm. Both very succulent and really elegant, the serious acidity lighting this up like fireworks. Brilliant and super-fresh, barely off-dry finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold." —James Suckling |
