"I've always loved the wines of this incredibly old-school domaine, and their 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape looks to be another solid effort. Loads of garrigue, pepper, incense, saddle leather, and sweet red and black fruits all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, supple, seamless red that has ripe tannins, good mid-palate depth, and just loads of upfront charm. It's not going to be the longest-lived, but it's beautifully done and is going to offers tons of pleasure over the coming 10-12 years." —Jeb Dunnuck |
