"Notes of red berries, mocha and liquorice. Plenty of fruit combined with fine grained tannins and well integrated oak the wine offers both good intensity and finesse. It is an elegant and harmonious wine already at release at the end of 2015 and will develop in complexity with time." —winemaker

Blend: 35% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot
"A soft and round textured red with blueberry, walnut and black tea character. Some lead pencil. Medium body, fresh finish. Luscious finish. A blend of cabernet franc, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold." —JamesSuckling.com

"The 2013 Il Pino di Biserno is a gorgeous wine with a force of energy and liveliness that is uncommon to see in a wine of this extract and sophistication. Dark fruit tones of blackberry, plum and dried cherry are immediately followed by spice, leather and tobacco. The effect is soothing, intense and compelling. This is a beautiful wine from a classic vintage, but the tannins are definitely on the young side. It needs a minimum of three to five more years of cellar aging in order to show the splendor that this wine holds within." —Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate

"A rich, racy wine, the 2013 Il Pino di Biserno hits all the right notes. Super-ripe red cherry, raspberry, mint, sage and espresso are fused together. This is an especially succulent, juicy wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Drinking window: 2017 - 2025." —JamesSuckling.com
